Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how the Rummatro™ mobile game ("Rummatro", "the app", "we") and the rummatro.com website handle information. In short: the app itself collects, transmits, or shares no personal data and is designed to run entirely on your device. The website has one optional exception — a launch-notification email signup — covered in full under "Website mailing list" below.
The short version
- No account required. You don't sign up, sign in, or give us any details to play.
- No personal data collected by the app. We don't gather your name, email, contacts, location, or device identifiers. (The website's optional email signup is the one exception — see below.)
- No internet access from the app. The app does not request the Internet permission and does not send data anywhere.
- No ads, no analytics, no trackers. There are no third-party advertising, analytics, or tracking SDKs in the app or on the website.
- Your progress stays on your device. Game saves and settings are stored locally and never leave your phone.
Information we collect
None. Rummatro does not collect or process any personal or sensitive user data as defined by the Google Play Developer Program Policies. The app requests a single device permission — Vibrate — used only to provide haptic feedback during play. This permission does not access any personal information.
Data stored on your device
To let you continue a run and keep your preferences, the app saves a small amount of information locally on your device, including:
- Your current or most recent run state (hand, relics, progress).
- Game settings such as sound and haptics preferences.
This data is stored in the app's private storage on your device. It is never transmitted to us or to any third party. If you uninstall the app or clear its data, this information is permanently deleted.
Sharing and third parties
We do not share, sell, or disclose any information because we do not collect any. Rummatro contains no third-party advertising networks, analytics providers, or social/login integrations.
Children's privacy
Rummatro is suitable for a general audience and does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children. Because no data is collected or transmitted, there is nothing about a child (or any user) for us to receive, store off-device, or share.
Google Play
Rummatro is distributed through the Google Play Store. When you download or update the app, Google may process information (such as your Google account and device) as part of operating the store. That processing is governed by Google's Privacy Policy, not by us, and is separate from the app itself.
The browser demo (rummatro.com/play)
The free browser demo runs entirely in your browser, the same as the app: it collects nothing, sets no tracking cookies, and uses no analytics. Nothing you do in the demo is sent to us.
Website mailing list (rummatro.com)
If you choose to enter your email address on rummatro.com to be notified when Rummatro launches, we store that email address — nothing else — on our own server, for that sole purpose. We do not use a third-party mailing list provider, and we do not use it for any other kind of marketing.
We will email you once, around launch, and not otherwise. You can ask us to delete your email address at any time — see Contact below.
Your choices
Because the app holds no data about you off your device, there is nothing to request, export, or have us delete for the app itself. You remain in full control: clearing the app's data or uninstalling it removes all locally stored game information. If you signed up to the website mailing list, you can ask us to delete your email address at any time — see Contact below.
Changes to this policy
If the app ever changes in a way that affects data handling (for example, if optional online features are added in future), we will update this policy and revise the "Last updated" date above before that change takes effect.
