Questions
Frequently asked questions
Everything about how Rummatro plays — and what it isn't.
What is Rummatro?
Rummatro is a roguelike rummy deckbuilder for Android. You arrange card melds — Sets and Runs — to clear escalating Blinds, collect game-breaking Relics, upgrade your deck in the Shop, and try to survive a full run of eight antes and their Boss Hazards.
Do I need to know how to play rummy?
No. If you can group cards into matching Sets or sequential Runs, you already know the basics. Rummatro teaches the rest, then hands you Relics and Tarot cards to bend those rules in your favour. New to it? Start with the How to play guide.
Is Rummatro free?
Yes — Rummatro is free to play on Android.
Is Rummatro gambling?
No. Rummatro is a single-player game of skill and strategy. There's no real-money wagering and no cash prizes. The "cash" you earn in a run is in-game currency you spend in the Shop — it has no monetary value and can't be bought or cashed out.
Can I play offline?
Yes. Rummatro runs entirely on your device and needs no internet connection. The app doesn't even request internet access — so you can play on a plane, underground, or anywhere.
Does Rummatro collect my data?
No. Rummatro collects no personal data, contains no ads or analytics, and keeps your progress stored locally on your device. Read the full Privacy Policy.
How long is a run?
A run spans eight antes, each with small, big and Boss Hazard Blinds. A single run is a satisfying sitting — and because every run reshuffles your Relics, Suitcases and Tarot, no two play the same. It's built for "just one more run".
What platforms is it on?
Rummatro is built natively for Android and is coming to the Google Play Store. Bookmark rummatro.com — the download link lands on the homepage the moment it's live.
